Today we honor all of the men and women of the military that have served our great nation.
Courage, selflessness and ultimate sacrifice—all given to protect the freedom and liberties that we enjoy as Americans.
Our own, Mark Larson, was a member of A Company, 1st Engineers, 1st Infantry Division—the oldest, most decorated engineer company in the United States Army.
Mark served for ten years, leaving active duty as Sergeant E-5. We’re grateful for his service and honored to stand with him each day at Elementar Americas.
An overview of his service; summarized by Mark Larson:

I served an additional seven years in D Co, 244 Engineers, Combat Heavy in Boulder, CO as an Equipment Operator (62E) and Construction Supervisor (62N). I was deployed numerous times to locations including Honduras, Camp Ripley, Camp Drum, several times to Ft Irwin, Ft Greeley, and Ft. Richardson."
